That's the whole point of lifting versus tear-out. We drill small access holes, pump material under the slab, and the existing concrete rises back into position. The slab has to be structurally sound first. Heavily cracked or shattered sections sometimes need replacement instead.

Slab settling shows up as an isolated dip in a driveway, patio, or walkway with no connection to the house structure. Foundation settling usually comes with interior cracks, sticking doors, or uneven floors inside the home. If you're seeing both, mention it during the estimate so we can flag what's outside our scope.

Minor cracks are common and don't rule out lifting. Wide or shifting cracks can mean the slab needs sectional replacement instead. We'll tell you straight during the inspection.
